Fonts dont print, registration banner will not quit

I was forced to stop using v 2.0 because of the dammed TT font issue. I reverted back to version 1.3 (Works like a dream), but...

Every once in a white I ge the p[ersistant registration screen which I can't get out of, and the registration processing can't gain a connection, so it just sits there.

I'm forced to kill it at the process level in task manager. all is OK for a while.
