Paper size

I'm trying to convert from a DOC to PDF. The paper size is set at 6x9" (paperback) with 3/4" margins on all sides, mirror margins. When I send it to Primo it comes out 8.5x11. I go to Properties > Advanced > Papersize = Postscript custom (6x9), print it, and it still comes out 8.5x11... Which kills my ideas.

On a tangent, how do I embed fonts in my PDF?
